Appointment of Claire Jaunaux, Head of the new division “Eyssautier-Verlingue Marine and Transport”

Verlingue is reasserting its ambition on the P&I, Logistics, Maritime, Trading, Aviation and Transport markets by consolidating all of the fields of expertise held by Eyssautier-Verlingue and Verlingue’s Maritime Aviation and Transport (MAT) Department to form a new department – “Eyssautier-Verlingue Marine & Transport” – headed by Claire Jaunaux. Claire will take up her new role from 2 June 2025. She will sit on Verlingue’s Executive Committee.

 

 

Claire Jaunaux has been Insurance Manager in TotalEnergies’ Risk Assessment and Insurance Department (DARA) since 2018. More specifically, she was in charge of the insurance programmes of subsidiaries within the “Trading & Shipping” branch and of several businesses within the “Gas, Renewables & Power” segment. Claire was also in charge of the global “Political Violence & Terrorism” programme.

From 2007 to 2018, Claire Jaunaux worked for DIOT SIACI as Clientele Manager in the Transport Department. From 2003 to 2007, she worked for AON as a Transport Specialist.

Claire Jaunaux holds a D.E.A. in Maritime Legal Sciences.

Claire Jaunaux will head a department comprised of close to 70 staff members distributed between Paris, Marseille, Quimper, Athens and London (Lloyd’s Broker). Her main missions will be to accelerate business development while ensuring that all clients enjoy market-leading standards of quality of service and management. She will be seconded in this task by, among others:

  • Alexandre Rocher, “Hull – P&I” Director: shipowner, charterer and shipyard markets
  • Jean-Patrick Caumont, “P&I – Trading” Director: raw materials shipping markets
  • Thierry Briois, “Ports & Logistics” Director: ports and river logistics markets
  • Romain Lepetz, “Industries & Services” Manager: fishing, aeronautical and other industry markets

Mathieu Berrurier, currently Chief Executive Officer of Eyssautier-Verlingue, will step down from this position from 2 June 2025. He will continue his journey within the Adelaïde Group until his retirement, becoming Advisor to Gilles Bénéplanc, the Group’s Deputy CEO.
