Luiza Fragoso Teodoro is appointed to the position of CEO of Verlingue Portugal
Verlingue SAS, the shareholder holding the capital of Verlingue Portugal, is pleased to announce the appointment of Luiza Fragoso Teodoro as CEO of its subsidiary, who will report operationally to Anne-Jacques de Dinechin, CEO of the Verlingue Company. As CEO, Luiza Teodoro’s main mission will be to lead Verlingue in Portugal, aiming to pursue sustainable development and growth in each of its business sectors.
Dr. Luiza Teodoro has 25 years of experience in the insurance sector and possesses a deep knowledge of the business. She graduated in Economics and began her career in the former Champalimaud Group, having worked at Mundial Confiança and Tranquilidade in roles in bancassurance, marketing, channel management, and individual and corporate business. In 2018, she assumed leadership of the independent agents and brokers sector at MetLife Portugal, and in 2020, she joined the Iberian Management Committee of the insurer, responsible for the management and leadership of the agents and brokers line in the Iberian market.

This appointment is part of the continuity plan for Verlingue Portugal initiated in March 2021 when the entire capital was acquired. “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Luiza. Her experience and knowledge of the sector will help us achieve our ambition for the development of Verlingue Portugal, started in 2021, contributing to building a European, family-owned, and independent brokerage company,” stated Anne-Jacques, CEO of the Verlingue Company.
At the scheduled General Assembly, the remaining Social Bodies will be appointed, with the Board of Directors composed as follows:
