The CIAB International Broker Challenge took place from 14 to 17 March

Tyson Phillips (Verlingue UK), Laure Manaranche (Verlingue France), Eduardo Morais (Verlingue Portugal), and Marco Hofstetter (Verlingue Switzerland), are taking part in the Broker Challenge 2023 organised by the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB), which runs from 14 to 17 March in Madrid.

This 2.5-day programme provides an in-depth understanding of how insurance broking works.

In teams of four, participants compete in a computer-simulated insurance brokerage market and experience a whole new level of decision-making, with an overview of the brokerage value chain – from customer segment analysis and lead source management to financial management and customer acquisition.

This event is an opportunity for Verlingue participants to enhance their skills, create more links between subsidiaries and strengthen international cooperation within the group.

On Thursday 16 March, the Verlingue team won the bronze medal. Of the 6 teams taking part, Tyson Phillips, Laure Manaranche, Eduardo Morais and Marco Hofstetter came 3rd.
